What comes after Copenhagen?
Copenhagen has been an abject failure. Justice has not been done. By delaying action, rich countries have condemned millions of the world’s poorest people to hunger, suffering and loss of life as climate change accelerates. The blame for this disastrous outcome is squarely on the developed nations.

A climate law, with a lot of work to do
After months of announcements, delays and behind the scenes research, Belgian climate minister Magnette has announced the long-awaited climate law proposal and... to be honest it's not really world class. Belgium could follow the groundbreaking examples of the UK and Scotland and adopt a strong and fair climate law.

A project for everyone interested in do-it-yourself (“DIY”) environmentalism, culture, nature, community life and the art of travelling without engines – the exact opposite of an all-inclusive flight to the beach!

Climate summit in Bolivia

Resistance to the Belo Monte dam
The Brazilian government and a number of big companies have set their sights on constructing a huge dam on the Xingurivier in the Amazon, on the traditional land of the Xingu indians. A large area of the Amazon would be flooded, a catastrophe for the indigenous people of the region, and the environment.
